Women lead very busy lives. And, for as good as they want to look, many women simply don’t have enough time to get to the store, try out expensive beauty products that may not work, and continue on with their daily lives. However, implementing a beauty regimen can be very simple, and done with products you likely have in your home. By following these simple tips, you can begin your own home beauty regimen, making you look and feel great while also saving you a lot of money, time, and trips to the beauty supply store.

You can use almonds to treat your hands. Almond oil contains a great amount of olein, which is the liquid part of fat. This helps lock in all the skin’s natural oils, which means that you can reap the benefits of almond oil longer than a traditional store-bought moisturizer. To use almond oil as a hand treatment, wash your hands, then massage almond oil into them for five minutes. Before you go to sleep, put on soft cotton gloves. In the morning, wash off the almond oil.

To feel rejuvenated, refreshed, and thoroughly cleaned, use an orange scrub. You can buy these, or make your own. To make an orange scrub, mix orange or other citrus peels with dry roasted blackgram and dry roasted redgram, some semolina, dried rose petals, and sandal powder. Combine all ingredients, then mix with milk and warm honey, until it is a coarse paste. Apply, then bathe normally.

Use cucumber slices over your eyes to brighten them and remove bags and dark circles. You should also consider eating cucumbers as they are a healthy food option that will make you feel good without consuming very many calories.

Rinse your hair in olive oil to make your hair glisten. Olive oil contains a lot of fat and works well as a light shampoo and rinse.

Take a bath in honey milk. Honey milk works well to soften the skin and serves as a great moisturizer while also being pleasant to soak in for a while.

Make your own lotions to help your skin if it is dry. Even normal skin can benefit from the use of skin lotions, particularly apple, peach, or berry lotions.

When using honey in any of your beauty treatments, consider using Manuka Honey from New Zealand. This honey is believed to have additional health and antibacterial benefits. It can be found at many health food stores and can be used for cooking as well, making it a good investment.

There are many ways to create your own beauty products at home. With a little research, some time to let them “cook”, and the dedication to natural and healthy items, you can create your own natural beauty products without even going to the store. By following the tips above (and doing some added research, as these are just the tip of the iceberg), you can be beautiful with a happy checkbook to boot.
